Arrange a donation suit drive

If your business office or company would like to organise a suit donation drive for us please get in touch. We would be really happy to explore ideas with you, provide our logo and publicity. Find out more about arranging a suit donation drive for Suited for Success.

We couldn't do what we do without the generous clothing donations we receive. All the clothing we provide is FREE OF CHARGE, dry cleaned, the highest quality and is the client's to keep. We take donations of new or 'excellent quality' preloved gently worn male and female business professional suits and smart workwear.

Around 70% of the donated clothing we are currently receiving is either 'unwearable' or 'unsuitable' for our work. Donating unsuitable clothing hinders our work instead of supporting us and takes up our limited space, resources and valuable time.  We would ask that ALL clothing is checked and sorted thoroughly before donating to Suited for Success.

  • Dirty, stained clothing or in need of repair (i.e holes, discolouring, torn seams (please check shirt collars, armpits and inside trousers)

  • Outdated clothing

  • Overworn clothing

  • Casual clothing including jeans, t-shirts, trainers or sandals and knitwear

  • Outworn, scuffed or in need of repair shoes

  • Used socks, stockings or underwear

Please note: All clothing is dry cleaned before giving to our clients. Suited for Success has to raise all funds through charity fundraising. To help us with the clothing cleaning costs we would ask that donors would consider cleaning the clothing items you would like to donate (especially suits) or a financial contribution is kindly made towards the dry cleaning costs. We cannot use any preloved donated clothing until it is cleaned.

Please see our guidelines below for donating smart interview wear, workwear, shoes and accessories to Suited for Success to support the unemployed to make that first impression count in a job interview and gain employment.
