ABOUT OUR
SUITED FOR SUCCESS BUS
Thanks to a fantastic bus donation of a retired bus from National Express West Midlands, we are developing a new arm of our charity to take our employment support on the road – The Suited for Success Bus!

Our bus mission is to reach and support even more unemployed people in who are unemployed across Birmingham and West Midlands in areas that some of the highest levels of unemployment and deprivation the country helping them to access our support to get back into the world of work.

SUITED FOR SUCCESS BUS
Thanks to a fantastic bus donation from National Express West Midlands, Suited for Success is going on the road to support the unemployed in communities across Birmingham and the West Midlands with high levels of unemployment and deprivation.
We'll be helping people to access our charity’s FREE support to gain employment including FREE interview coaching, employment preparation, support to find jobs and training opportunities also FREE interview clothing.

We are raising funds towards the operational costs of the bus. Donations can be made online via Just Giving as a one-off donation our becoming a regular giver. Also see our direct bank details below.

Our Bus Mission
At Suited for Success our mission is to level the playing field for unemployed people to realise their potential and gain employment. We often hear the term ‘hard to reach communities’.
​
The bus will take the help and support we offer at Suited for Success right into the heart of hard-to-reach areas of Birmingham and the wider West Midlands that have some of the highest levels of unemployment. The mobile project will allow more people to access our FREE support, giving unemployed people of all ages and background the tools they need to begin or continue their journey of preparation into employment equipped with the resources and skills to succeed.

From community centres and spaces, local community shopping centres and schools to community events, job fairs, grassroot charity venues and more working in partnership with grassroot charities, schools, religious groups, community groups, local resident groups, local shopping centres, local businesses to help more people into employment.
Our new Suited for Success Bus will see us working harder than ever to reach more unemployed people across Birmingham and the West Midlands.
The Big Conversion
The bus is a pop up version of our Suited for Success centre in central Birmingham including a clothing boutique, a coaching area also a welcome tea and coffee area.

The new pop-up employment bus is the next step in our commitment to breaking down barriers to employment for unemployed people across the West Midlands.
The bus will provide free interview skills coaching, employment days, essential employment preparation skills alongside the FREE provision of professional interview clothing for unemployed people in underserved neighbourhoods with high unemployment rates, making it easier for people to access the employment support they need.

Design features include laptop stations, interview coaching booths, a tea and coffee area, rails of suits and workwear and changing rooms where stylists will work with clients to help them pick the job interview-winning outfit ready to make that crucial first impression
Our plans are to take the bus to areas of Birmingham that has some of the highest levels of unemployment in the UK so people can access our support into work.
Booked an appointment for some interview guidance and attire, these guys go above and beyond to make sure you're as prepared as can be. I came away feeling confident about my interview and with a formal suit, an extra suit jacket, ties and a pair of shoes. The team go above and beyond to help prepare you and get you interview ready!
