Spent a little more than you meant to on Black Friday or Cyber Monday? Give a little back this pre-Christmas season and support Suited for Success on #GivingTuesday.

 

What’s #GivingTuesday?

​

#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving that takes place on the Tuesday following Black Friday and Cyber Monday and is a chance to give something back after all that shopping! #GivingTuesday reminds everyone it’s good to give – and encourages people to come together and share the goodwill.

​

At the start of the Christmas shopping season, #GivingTuesday encourages people and businesses to donate their time, their money or their voice to help a good cause.

​

We would love you to support Suited for Success for #GivingTuesday and help our new centre open up with a bang in January supporting people into employment.

​

Your #GivingTuesday funds will help towards completing the set-up and the running of our exciting now centre. We’re in need of:

​

• A new security entrance intercom system
   

• Reception sofas
   

• Men’s shoes (we get a lot of women’s shoes donated but struggle with men’s shoes)
   

• Haircuts and grooming (we’re wanting to partner with a local hairdresser to offer this additional service
   

• Underwear, tights, socks and accessories
   

• A new vehicle so we can pick up large donations
   

• The general running costs of the centre

New Year, New You, New Job

​

To celebrate the opening of our new centre in January we’ll be running a two day event called ‘New Year, New You, New Job’ suiting up unemployed men and women so they are ready to give that great first impression in a job interview and get into work for 2017.

​

#BNWT – Suit donation drive

​

Also to celebrate the opening of the centre we’ll be running a suit donation drive called #BNWT Brand New With Tags. We’re always happy to take good quality second hand suits and clothing but it’s the time of year when we all hit the sales and are tempted by the sale tags but get the clothes home then never wear them. It’s also a great time of year to clear out your wardrobe of clothes and shoes you’ve never worn.

​

Suited for Success would love you to donate all your #BNWT smart clothes to us and we’ll provide them free of charge to people needed a suitable job interview outfit. More details about BNWT coming soon.
