Ian has also been a Trustee of an Independent charity - "living Springs " near Stourbridge for over 20 years which cares for Vulnerable children and parents.

 

In 2011 helped set up and run a large Trussel Trust Foodbank in Birmingham called 'Birmingham Central Foodbank' with Suited for Success CEO Patricia White. Ian also played an instrumental part in the initial pilot and became a trustee from the inception of Suited for Success in 2015.

 

Having worked in a professional environment for over 35 years Ian recognises the importance of  "looking your best " when attending an interview, first impressions do count.  

 

"By providing Suits and other accessories, together with training for interviews, Ian believed it widens the opportunities, to those seeking employment. 

 

"My future aspiration for the charity would be continued growth in support not only in the donation of suits and clothing but also monetary donations to enable the charity to expand and reach vulnerable groups such as ex-offenders, military veterans, and single parents."
