Thank you Eton

Suited for Success has received an amazing donation of shirts and ties from Eton Shirts shipped from the Eton head office in Sweden. The luxury retailer donation came after they ran a social media campaign during the Covid-19 lockdown to support our charity.

Collaboration during a crisis

During the UK lockdown Suited for Success was contacted by the Eton PR team based at the Eton head office in Sweden with an idea for a collaborative initiative to support our work.

“The initiative started in the spirit of physical distancing during the Coronavirus crisis", says Eton Digital PR director Elin Berglund, “we wanted to create a social media campaign to spread the message to stay home to limit the spread, while also making a positive contribution to people in need.”

Working from home in style

Eton invited their social media community to share how they are working from home in style during the worldwide lockdown and as a thank you donated an Eton product for every post tagged under their @etonshirts Instagram account with the hashtags #workfromhome and #meandmyeton.

“We see this as a great opportunity to support the people who will be the hardest hit in our society and help them in the best way we can to get back to employment”. says Elin.

Supporting unemployed men into work

This initiative was shared across all Eton's media platforms and channels including social media, newsletter, press, website and digital marketing. The luxury retailer donated 75 men's shirts and over 80 ties to Suited for Success. They also supported a similar New York-based not-for-profit social enterprise supporting unemployed men struggling to re-enter the workforce.

Thank you Eton
