Getting set for the Commonwealth Games
As the recruitment for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games jobs continues to pick up pace, it was great to work with the OCS Group UK Group team to host a Commonwealth Games employment day at Suited for Success on Wednesday 19th May.
Our centre was buzzing all day supporting the unemployed who live in communities close to the Utilita Arena Birmingham venue helping people to apply for available jobs including cleaners and security roles. Attendees were able to meet the OCS HR team and get one-to-one support to apply for the jobs online on the day using a suite of laptops.
Help and support also included one-to-one coaching (CV reviews, interview and employment preparation) from a team of business volunteers including volunteering support from Gowling WLG and Culture Recruitment Group. All attendees were also provided with a free interview outfit and uniform clothing items (not provided by the employer) ready to start work.
