Award winner

We're over the moon that Suited for Success was recognised as an award winning collaboration project in West Midlands at the annual Business in the Community (BITC) Gala Dinner Awards event at the Botanical Gardens on Thursday 23rd June.

Suited for Success is a perfect platform to bring the corporate and the third sector worlds together to impact unemployment. We're looking forward to continue collaborating with businesses to help and support unemployed men and women in our city.

About the Gala Dinner

The purpose of the West Midlands Responsible Business Gala Dinner annual event is to celebrate the powerful role and positive impact of business in society. It's also an opportunity for businesses to share inspirational

stories of how are making a real difference in the region; how they are tackling unemployment, working in schools to raise aspirations, improving the environment, while transforming their communities and creating diverse and vibrant places of work.

The event was attended by over 270 guests from West Midlands companies including: A.F.Blakemore Ltd; Cross Country Trains; Gowling WLG UK; Jaguar Land Rover; KPMG; Lloyds Bank; Mondelez International; Pinsent Masons; Shakespeare Martineau and more...

Raksha Pattni, Area Director West, Business in the Community: “The recipients of our awards clearly demonstrate the positive impact businesses and individual scan have when they collaborate and come together as a force for good to tackle a range of economic, social and environmental issues that are essential to building a fairer society and amore sustainable future here in the West Midlands.”
