Wesleyan staff suit young people ready for employment success

Another great workshop day on Tuesday 27th November with a team of staff volunteers from the Wesleyan office in Birmingham city centre supporting a group of 12 unemployed young people preparing them to make a great first impression at their next job interview

The group of young people aged between 18-29 were on an employment programme with Birmingham charity Sport 4 Life who's mission is to create better futures for young people aged 12 to 29 by improving their employability and key life skills, through sports-themed personal development programmes. The day at Suited for Success included an employment session ran by the Sport 4 Life team before the young group were dressed, styled and provided with smart interview outfits by the team of Wesleyan staff ready for their mock interviews with a city corporate business.

While being dressed the young people also had the opportunity to be coached and encouraged by the Wesleyan staff regarding their employment goals and aspirations.
