Thank you Clements and Church

We have so many great days at Suited for Success it’s hard to pick out a best day. However, when Clements and Church tailors turned up at our centre with FOUR vans loaded with incredible donations of beautifully tailored suits, shirts, ties and accessories it has to be one of our best days yet!

British tailors Clements and Church recently made the amazing donation of surplus stock to Suited for Success as their business moves away from ready to wear suiting, shirts, shoes, knitwear and luxury accessories to custom made suits and luxury tailoring.

With five store locations across the UK including Birmingham, Solihull, Leamington Spa, Oxford and Beaconsfleld; Clements and Church have previously supported Suited for Success since we started two years ago with smaller donations of surplus stock. The donations have really helped us to dress our unemployed male clients to make the best possible first impression at their job interview.

Clements and Church owner Mark Nash popped into Suited for Success just after the Christmas break to see our work and to offer the incredible sizable charity donation. The idea for a team of Clements and Church Tailors to volunteer for a day to style our clients was also explored. The Suited for Success team have been absolutely astounded by the generous support.

Incredible donation

"We've had to buy additional clothing rails to store the amazing donations" says Suited for Success Chief Exec Patricia White. "We're big fans of Clements and Church and couldn't believe it when we were offered the generous donation."

"The suits and accessories are so beautiful, we can't wait to dress our clients, many of whom have experienced challenges and barriers into work, so they can walk into a job interview with confidence ready to make that first impression count, and get that job that could change their life. We are so grateful to Clements and Church."

Labels for Change

Suited for Success will provide the donated suits and accessories free of charge to referred unemployed men going for a job interview who can't afford interview clothing alongside interview coaching and preparation skills.

Clements and Church have also kindly allowed a few of the more bespoke one-off designed suits donated, to be used to help raise funds, as part of our fundraising venture called 'Labels for Change'.

Labels for Change encourages the donations of high-end brand new, samples and second-hand designer clothing and accessories to be sold at fundraising evenings and events in and around Birmingham. The clothing will be sold at huge discounted prices with 100% of the proceeds going back into the charity to support our ongoing work helping unemployed men and women in to employment and changing lives.
